WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a Greenhouse Foreman, you are responsible for managing all greenhouse operations related to the growth, care and harvesting of peppers. In this role, you’ll work closely with a dedicated team to ensure optimal productivity, plant health and product quality. You’ll be part of a dynamic greenhouse environment where both seasonal peaks and continuous processes take place. Flexibility, leadership, and a passion for plants are key to thriving in this role. Depending on the season and the growth stage of the plants, working hours may vary, but no two days are ever the same. Tasks may include:

Supervising and guiding employees in all greenhouse activities
Assigning tasks and monitoring progress
Harvesting and sorting
Coordinating and optimizing the harvesting process
Ensuring a pleasant and productive working environment
Monitoring the growth and health of pepper plants
Identifying diseases, pests and irregularities
Applying crop protection and biological control methods when necessary
Ensuring the quality of peppers during picking and sorting
Implementing efficient working methods
Training employees in work procedures and safety regulations

YOUR PROFILE

Good English language knowledge
Candidates with a driving license will be given priority
Experience in a similar role is an advantage
Knowledge of plant care and harvesting processes is an advantage
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
Good communication and organizational skills
Flexible and able to handle stress
Strong motivation and positive work attitude
Enthusiastic, driven and proactive

WE OFFER

Hourly rate: starts from € 14,99 to € 17,49 (depending on experience)
Working time: Morning shift
Shift allowance: after 20:00 is paid at 150%
Overtime: - above 38 hours per week is paid at 135% - above 48 hours per week is paid at 150% - above 10 hours per day is paid at 150%
Weekend allowance: Saturday is paid at 135%
5 - 6 days per week
35 - 55 hours per week

🚗 Earn extra net income by driving a Level One car to work. Receive €2.50 net per day, plus extra for each colleague you take with you (round trip). With 4 passengers, you can already earn up to €10 net extra per day. Fuel or charging costs are fully covered by Level One.
Provided accommodation: € 113,9 per week
Dutch health insurance: € 38,22 per week
