WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As Account Manager Eastern Europe, you will have the unique opportunity to further develop the Eastern European market together with us. You will be the main point of contact for customers in countries including Poland, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. This role offers an exciting combination of account management, market research and business development. While the position is part of our Foodservice team, your market research will also cover Retail customers. This allows you to bring Foodservice and Retail together within one versatile role. Together with the Foodservice and Retail teams, you will build a strong foundation for further growth.

Managing and expanding your own client portfolio in Eastern Europe;
Customers in both the foodservice sector (catering wholesalers, bulk buyers) and the retail sector (shops and chains);
Analysing market potential and identifying growth opportunities;
Building long-term relationships with existing and new customers;
Negotiating prices, terms and contracts;
Close collaboration with internal teams (logistics, marketing, procurement) to ensure the best possible service;
Regular travel to visit clients in the region (in consultation with others and with thorough preparation to ensure that processes run smoothly).

YOUR PROFILE

Higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking, for example in (international) business, commercial economics or a similar field;
A good command of Polish and either Dutch or English;
Do you speak Polish or another Eastern European language? Or a bit of German? If so, you’ve got a real head start;
Familiarity with the Eastern European market is an advantage;
Entrepreneurial, business-minded, analytical, results-oriented and relationship-focused;
Willing to travel to the region from time to time;
We’re looking for a trailblazer with a commercial mindset. You’ll be given plenty of freedom to chart your own course, but that also requires courage and initiative. You’re not afraid to tap into new markets and know better than anyone how to build lasting relationships.
