For this position, you’ll be working at a professional Dutch plant nursery specializing in the cultivation and care of high-quality ornamental plants. The company operates modern greenhouses where plants are grown, maintained, and prepared for distribution to customers in the Netherlands and abroad.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

A Greenhouse Worker is responsible for planting and caring for flowers, removing old blooms, unloading plant trolleys, working on the production line and trimming Christmas star plants (Poinsettias).Tasks include:

  •  Planting and potting flowers in the greenhouse.
  •  Removing old or damaged flowers and leaves from plants.
  •  Unloading and moving plant trolleys (plant carts).
  •  Assisting with various greenhouse activities.
  •  Working on the production line.
  •  Trimming and pruning Christmas star plants (Poinsettias).
  •  Sorting, checking, and preparing plants for shipment.
  •  Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

YOUR PROFILE

  •  Good English or Polish language knowledge
  •  Candidates with a driving license will be given priority
  •  Strong motivation and positive work attitude
  •  Willing to perform repetitive tasks.
  •  Comfortable working in a greenhouse environment with varying temperatures.
  •  Flexible to work different shifts.
  •  Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  •  Experience in horticulture or greenhouse work is an advantage but not required.

WE OFFER

  •  Hourly rate: € 14,99
  •  Working time: 06:00 - 18:00 14:00 - 23:00 18:00 - 06:00 - after 20:00 + 50%
  •  35 - 55 hours per week
  •  5 - 6 days per week
  •  Dutch health insurance: € 38,22 per week
  •  Dutch employment contract
  •  Provided accommodation: € 113,9 per week
  •  🚗 Do you already have private accommodation? We offer travel allowance of €0.25 per km when using your own car (from 6.6 km up to 50 km per day).
  •  🚗 Earn extra net income by driving a Level One car to work. Receive €2.50 net per day, plus extra for each colleague you take with you (round trip). With 4 passengers, you can already earn up to €10 net extra per day. Fuel or charging costs are fully covered by Level One.

We can hire nationals of EU/EEA countries and Switzerland, as well as individuals who hold a valid Dutch residence permit with work authorization (for example, a permit stating "arbeid vrij toegestaan"). Please note: a residence or work permit issued by another EU country does not automatically grant the right to work in the Netherlands. We are currently unable to provide visa or work permit sponsorship.
